Drawing comparisons to such rock powerhouses as Chevelle, The Deftones, Seether, Sevendust and Foo Fighters; Avedis delivers thunderous rock without remorse or hesitation. The Chicago based hard rock trio combines heavy, melodic guitars with a head pounding groove, thoughtful, catchy lyrics and huge choruses that cannot be denied or forgotten. Known for their exciting live show and high energy performances, Avedis combines Alternative Rock and Punk, resulting with a thump and stomp, “rip up the club until closing” attitude laced experience.

Formed in 2007 by frontman Corey Nietupski, the trio released their first album, “Total Control” and began to garner a strong regional following, touring throughout the Midwest. To date, they’ve brought their explosive live show to such renowned rock venues as The Brat Stop (Kenosha, WI) The Frequency (Madison, WI) and Milwaukee’s annual Summerfest. Avedis’ latest album “Red Sea” was released in February 2011 to sterling reviews from Metal Odyssey Magazine, Heavy Paradise Rock Reviews, Pure Grain Audio Magazine, AVolt Magazine, Rock On Magazine, Angelfire Magazine, Evigshed Magazine, The Joy of Violent Movement and Mental Pirate Rock Reviews to name just a few. The band has taken to the radio airwaves in promotion of this release with interviews on Red Velvet Media, The Ruby Room, Decibel Express with Clark Edwards and John Talk Radio.

Avedis is currently touring the Midwest in promotion of the “Red Sea” EP while writing their full length follow up to the critically acclaimed release.
